Is my treatment style right for you?
Designed for working parents and busy professionals suffering from issues such as persistent neck tightness, shoulder tension, stress headaches, and physical fatigue caused by constant daily demands. My care aims to reduce physical tightness and mental exhaustion so you can reset.
How a session works
Physical stiffness and ongoing stress often feed into each other. With 15 years of experience, I combine chiropractic adjustments with muscle testing and Neuro Emotional Technique to treat structural pain and nervous system strain together during each appointment.
What techniques do I use to get the best results for you?
Chiropractic Adjustments
Manual adjustments – Hands-on techniques used to improve movement and function in the spine and joints.
Low force techniques – Gentle approaches that may be more suitable for people who prefer a lighter style of care or require a more modified approach.
Applied Kinesiology (Muscle Testing)
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a form of functional neurological testing that uses manual muscle testing to help identify areas of imbalance and guide treatment.
Neuro Emotional Technique
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) helps identify and release physical stress caused by long-term emotional pressure, strain, and busy schedules.
-
Neuro Emotional Technique, or NET, is a mind-body approach created by chiropractor Dr Scott Walker in the 1980s. It draws on ideas from chiropractic care, the biopsychosocial model (which looks at how biology, thoughts, feelings and life circumstances all affect health) and traditional Chinese medicine.
In a session, we use muscle testing and a step-by-step process to find stress patterns your body may be holding on to. The aim is to help your nervous system respond more appropriately to things that are no longer a threat. It’s a bit like a fire alarm still blaring after the fire’s out. The aim is to help your body switch it off.
People often come to NET when they feel stress might be playing a part in how they’re feeling, physically or emotionally.

Your initial consultation will include a thorough health history, physical examination & treatment.

I will refer you for x-rays if I think it is clinically indicated but I do not routinely refer all patients for x-rays.

Prefer a gentle approach without manual joint clicking? Low-force techniques and gentle adjustments are available to suit your comfort preference.

Don’t worry, I won’t tell you that you need to come in three times a week for the next three months!
At the start, I may want to see you more often, usually weekly for the first few visits, so we can make progress quickly. From there, we’ll space things out as you improve.
Most of my patients come in about once a month to stay on top of things. Some only need to come every few months, and others prefer to come in when they feel they need it. I’ll always tell you when I’d recommend your next visit, and I’m happy to work with what suits your life.
